Tasks Management

You can manage all your daily multilingual store tasks directly in Langshop.

The Tasks section displays and stores information about all active and completed tasks that have been performed.

To access your tasks, go to Settings > Tasks. There, you’ll find two tabs:

  • Active Tasks — to monitor tasks currently in progress.
  • History — to review completed, failed, or stopped tasks.

Tasks Tab

Active tasks

If there are no active tasks, you’ll see a blank page like the one shown below.

Active Tasks Section

Once tasks are running, they will appear in this section.

Active Tasks

When you start an action, a task progress modal will appear in the upper-right corner of the screen. This window remains visible no matter which part of the module you are in, so you can always monitor progress in real time.

All tasks are processed in the background on the server. This means you don’t need to wait for them to finish; you can continue working, close your browser, or even turn off your computer. The tasks will continue running automatically, and you’ll receive a notification once a task is completed.

You can also manage active tasks directly from this section.

Under each task, you’ll find two buttons:

  • Pause - temporarily stop the task. You can resume it at any time.
  • Stop - permanently stop the task. Once stopped, it cannot be resumed.

Tasks history

To view information about completed tasks, open the History tab.

Here, you’ll find a list of all tasks performed by the module, along with their status:

  • Completed
  • Failed
  • Stopped

Tasks History

Click on any task in the list to view detailed information about it.
