Translate resource images
Note: The feature is only available to users who had the theme localized prior to August 8, 2023.
If you manage a multilingual store on Shopify, you may want to display different images for different language versions. You can change images for products, collections, and blog posts. It means media files for the primary language can differ from the media you decide to add for another version. But note that translated images are only visible in the LangShop theme.
Steps:
From your LangShop admin, go to Translations > Products.
You can also select Collections or Blog Posts.
Select a product you want to translate images for.
Select a language you want to translate the image for.
Scroll down to the Images section.
Click the image on the right.
Upload the image you'd like to display in the translated version, select it and click the Select button.
Optionally, translate alt text and paste next to the image.
Save changes.
