After the app installation, you can start translating your store. LangShop allows you to translate your store automatically by using AI machine translation engines.
Steps:
From your LangShop admin, go to Translations > Products.
You can select any other element of your store which you want to translate automatically.
Select products from the list.
Click Translate.
From the Translation engines dropdown, select Standard engine.
Specify languages and element you want to translate.
Click Translate.
NOTE
Time for the tasks always depends on the amount of data and the number of languages you add to your online store.
You can translate content with one pro translation engine and get higher quality translations (instead of automatic translation where the app uses several machine translation engines at a time).
LangShop integrates with Google and DeepL translation engines. For this, you need to have a paid subscription and a generated API key in your account that you can enable in LangShop Settings > General settings > Translation engines.

If you already have translations for products, collections, pages, you can use LangShop import and load translations with CSV or PO file format.

If you don't want to spend a lot of time translating your online store into five or more languages, the app took care of integration with the industry-leading translation agency. You can order professional translations handled by native speakers directly inside the app interface.

Add multiple currencies
LangShop allows you to add additional currencies to the store. There is no limitation in the number of currencies you want to display at your storefront. However, this feature is available only to stores with one Market (Primary Market). The stores with 2 and more markets can’t add LangShop currencies.
Steps:
From your LangShop admin, go to Settings > Currencies.
Click Add.
Select currencies from the list.
TIP
After new currencies are added, edit money formatting.
Add a language and currency switcher
By default, LangShop adds language and currency switcher to your storefront (for all the themes). However, all the elements are Visible for admin only or store owners.
Before publishing the button with default styles, you can adapt it to your store design, change colors, position, size, font, text in the app settings, and change the status to Published afterward.
Steps:
From your LangShop admin, go to Settings > Switchers.
At the left-side panel, find Language & currency switcher.
If there are 2 and more Markets in your store, you’ll see Language & country switcher. It’s because the multi currency feature is available for stores with only one Market.
Tap Edit switcher.
Apply new changes.
Click Save.
TIP

You are ready to introduce your multilingual store to international customers.
