If you’d like to create and manage exclusion rules to restrict specific content types from translation, you can do it the following way

Steps:

Accessing the Exclusion Rules

Go to Settings > Exclusion Rules in the LangShop app.

View and manage all existing rules in this section.

Adding a New Exclusion Rule

Click Add Rule.

Enter a name for the rule and choose the Type (e.g., Metafield, Online Store Theme, Metaobject).


Configuring Rule Parameters

Specify Where to Apply (e.g., Field Name, Field Value).

Select an Operator (e.g., Contains,Begins With, Matches Regular Expression).

Input the value or criteria for exclusion and validate using the regular expression checker (if applicable).


Customizing Exclusion Scope

Choose the languages the rule applies to under Never Translate to Selected Languages.

Enable or disable Case Sensitivity as needed.

Saving and Managing Rules

Click Save to finalize the rule.
Edit or delete rules as needed using the provided options in the rules list.


Note: this functionality will be available only for Advanced Plan users.
