AI translation of collections using a bulk action

Steps:

From your LangShop admin, go to Translations > Collections.



Select items.

Click Translate.



To enable AI translation, select Standard engine in the dropdown menu.

Select languages and categories in the Advanced settings.

There are the following categories: (title, description, page title, meta description, metafields




NOTE
If you select the overwrite existing translations button, the app will translate texts again. You can skip this box if you previously translated collections.

Click Translate.


Please wait for the task to complete on the background server. The time depends on the amount of data and the number of languages you selected for the multilingual store.

API key activation 🔑

You can translate collections with a pro engine. For this, you need to have a paid account on a Google Cloud Platform or DeepL Pro to activate the API key in LangShop.

Steps:

From your LangShop admin, go to Settings > General settings > Translation engines.

Select a pro engine.



Paste the API key from your account.

Click Save.

AI Pro translation of collections

Steps:

From your LangShop admin, go to Translations > Collections.

Select collections you want to translate.

Click Translate.

Select Google Cloud Translation or DeepL Pro, depending on the pro translation engine you activate the API key for.



Select languages and categories in the Advanced Settings.

Order collection translations

You may also order translations from the TextMaster agency, which integrates directly with LangShop.

Steps:

From your LangShop admin, go to Translations > Collections.

Select collections that you want to translate.

Tap More actions > Add agency translation.

Select languages and fields.



Click Add to cart.


The drafted order will automatically appear in the Cart section (Agency Translation). You can submit the form and get the quote in real time from the agency.

Translate a single collection

When you add a new collection to your Online Store, you need to translate it in LangShop too. You can make it manually, using AI standard and pro translation engines or submit an order to TextMaster translation agency by clicking More actions > Add agency translation.

Steps:

From your LangShop admin, go to Translations > Collections.

Select a single collection.

Select the 'All supported markets' option (usually it's set by default).

You can also add a custom translation for a specific market only.

Select a language you want to translate your collection into.

Tap Translate button.



Select translation engine, languages and categories.

Click Translate.
