Edit product translation

LangShop gives full access to edit your store data translations manually. You can edit content for products manually and provide user-friendly content to international customers. You can also edit translations for each market to reflect dialect differences of the same language.

Edit product translation


From your LangShop admin, go to Translations > Products.

Select a product that you want to edit.

Select ‘All supported markets’ option.

If you want to add a custom translation for a specific market only, select it from the dropdown menu. Read more here.

Select a language you want to edit translation for.

Start editing the product info translation in the right field.

You can edit translation for the product title, description, tags, options, variants, alt text, Page title, Meta description, metafields, variants metafields.

Click Save.

Product translation history

The app saves both manual and AI translation changes in the translation history. You can always check translations and apply the most suitable content for you and your online store.


From your LangShop admin, go to Translations > Products.

You can check translation history for other instances as well.

Select a product that you have edited and want to check the history of translations.

Select All supported markets option.

Translation history is available for universal translation version (All supported markets) only.

From the dropdown menu under the Languages tab, select the language you want to check the history of translations for.

Tap ... and select a History option.

Apply the suitable translation for your product from the history list.

Click Save.
