Adding language code to URLs

You can get unique links for your translated pages.
For example, LangShop Demo Store's primary URL is langshop.myshopify.com

By adding Italian to the store, Shopify automatically adds the language code for the Italian version langshop.myshopify.com/it.

Translating SEO

LangShop can also translate your store's title and meta description that are displayed in search results.

Steps:

From your LangShop admin, go to Translations > Meta Tags.

NOTE: The feature is only available to users who had the theme localized prior to August 8, 2023.

Click Translate.
You can also submit the order to TextMaster by clicking More actions.

Note

You can also manually add custom translation of meta title and meta description for a specific market. For it, from the dropdown menu, select a market and a language and paste your translations.

Select a translation engine, languages and fields for translation.

You can translate meta tags with a standard or one of pro translation engines.

Click Translate.

Please wait for the task to complete in the background server.

Search engines index your online store in all the translated languages. Shopify automatically adds meta tags and hreflang tags, and includes all published languages in sitemaps, which help search engines detect the different languages on your multilingual store.
